In September 2025, Andre Calmon was named as the new faculty director of the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business. The Center has been one of the Ray C. Anderson Foundation's key funding initiatives since its founding. Calmon is associate professor of operations management at Scheller College, where he works at the intersection of operations research, business model innovation, and sustainability.

It launched in 2013 as the Center for Business Strategies for Sustainability with funding from the Foundation and others, and in January 2015 the Foundation made a $5 million commitment. It was then renamed for Ray C. Anderson.
