Dallas Klassen Wins 2021 Ray C. Anderson Sustainability and Sales Award

Dallas Klassen, Interface's Regional Sales Director, Western Canada received the 2021 Interface Sustainability and Sales Award presented by Interface and the Foundation at Interface's recent Sales & Marketing Meeting.

The award was presented by John Lanier, who is Executive Director of the Foundation, and one of Ray's grandsons. As part of the award, Dallas will get to donate prize money received from Interface and the Foundation, to a charity of his choice.

To quote Lisa Conway, Interface's VP of Sustainability, Americas, "Dallas wears Interface and his love for carbon on his sleeve. 16 years ago, Dallas joined Interface and had the honor to get to know Ray. Ray inspired him, and his passion for sustainability grew. Dallas had his own 'aha' or 'spear in the chest' moment as he learned more about carbon footprint and the role manufacturers can play," she said. "Dallas leads by example with our team, our customers, and also students. Connecting embodied carbon of products with reversing global warming through education is his purpose. It’s not just about floor coverings, it’s about being purpose-driven and representing products that make a difference. It's no surprise that he was recently promoted to a leadership role in Western Canada last summer."
