In September 2025, Andre Calmon was named as the new faculty director of the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business. The Center has been one of the Ray C. Anderson Foundation's key funding initiatives since its founding. Calmon is associate professor of operations management at Scheller College, where he works at the intersection of operations research, business model innovation, and sustainability.
Calmon succeeded Beril Toktay (Brady Family Chair in Management, Regents’ Professor, and executive director of BBISS), who served as the founding faculty director of the Center for over twelve years.
John A. Lanier, executive director of the Ray C. Anderson Foundation, said, “On behalf of all of us at the Anderson Foundation, we express our deep gratitude to Beril Toktay. We are fiercely proud of Ray Anderson’s legacy, and Dr. Toktay has only made us prouder.
