What do a neuroscientist, an empathy scholar, a teenage innovator, a nonprofit CEO, an entrepreneurship educator, a social epidemiologist, a disinformation fighter, a photographer, a marketer, an artist, a musician, and yours truly have in common?
Currently, we’re all starting to feel the butterflies for a talk we’ll be giving in about a week. Or at least I am. I suppose I shouldn’t speak for my fellow speakers – maybe they’re immune to butterflies.
Genuinely, I’m quite excited to be a part of the TEDxAtlanta lineup. While the event will take place virtually on April 16, we’ll be recording our talks in a studio next week. They have a really solid lineup of speakers, and there will be plenty of interaction with them throughout the event. The theme is “Begin at the Beginning,” and I’ll be speaking about how Drawdown Georgia is a first-of-its-kind approach to reversing global warming. I’d love to (virtually) see you there!
In the meantime, I’m going to be heads-down as I work on my talk. So that’s it for this blog post, and I’ll be taking next week off. Look for some good content (heck, probably better than my usual drivel) to appear in my stead.
Cheers, and wish me luck!
