Whew. We made it! Drawdown Georgia successfully launched, and my sincerest gratitude goes out to everyone who participated. Special shouts to all of the people who put in hours upon hours of work to make it all so smooth. Jobs very well done.
And now I’m blessedly on vacation. This is a week full of mountains and devoid of Zoom calls (well, mostly at least), and it’s exactly what I’ve been craving. Normally, I would leave you with quotes or a poem, but this time I’m going to leave you with a podcast instead.
Just recently, the podcast A Matter of Degrees launched, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It’s hosted by Dr. Leah Stokes and my good friend Dr. Katharine Wilkinson. As its introductory paragraph states, A Matter of Degrees is a show “for the climate curious people who know climate change is a problem, but are trying to figure out how to tackle it.” Okay fine, I guess you did get a quote after all.
