The Environmental Justice Green Book for Georgia Launches

The Turner Environmental Law Clinic at Emory University proudly announces the launch of The Environmental Justice Green Book for Georgia, a new online tool designed to empower communities facing environmental injustices in Georgia.

The Southern Environmental Law Center, and Hummingbird, assisted the Turner Environmental Law Clinic in this project, with the support of a team of environmental justice advocates, students, lawyers, community leaders, and technology experts. Funding for the project was provided by The Ray C. Anderson Foundation, The Sapelo Foundation, and Southern Environmental Law Center.

The EJ Green Book includes information about environmental justice; explanations of environmental laws; many strategies, tips, legal templates, and resources for community efforts to address environmental injustices and effect change; and a database of environmental justice organizations, government agencies, and community-based initiatives in Georgia.
