RayDay Promises Fun for the Whole Family
RayDay 2017 promises to be the best ever with several new exhibitors, additional booths in the kids’ area and all of the great things that have become traditions through five years of fun together.
RayDay will continue to be a zero food waste event this year, and all kinds of yummy cuisine will be available once again from the Food Movement trucks, the Sweetwater van, sustainable wine choices, and in keeping with its overwhelming popularity last year, King of Pops will be back!
For those who have never attended, RayDay is a fun, family-friendly and educational event, hosted by the Ray C. Anderson Foundation at Serenbe, to celebrate the life and legacy of Ray C. Anderson (1934-2011).
Adults will delight in all of the great ideas they can get for their own sustainability journey, while children will be entertained by live animal displays, hands-on composting demonstrations, rain barrel painting and environmentally focused storytelling from a children’s author and environmental educator. They will also have the chance to build bird and bat houses. We will have more traditional activities too, like pony rides, face painting, hay rides and the hot air balloon rides that appeal to children and adults of all ages.
RayDay is the Foundation’s gift to its friends and supporters, and tickets are free, but registration is required to attend. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER. Please don’t wait to get your tickets. We expect to reach full capacity this year with the potential for more than 1,800 attendees.
