Drawdown Georgia™ Featured on Weather Geeks Podcast

If you've ever read John Lanier's weekly Ecocentricity blog, you'll know he can get a little bit geeky, but he would be the first to admit it.

As geeks, we can all do a lot to help out our environment by doing little things like using less water while brushing our teeth or using reusable bags instead of plastic bags while at the grocery store. But as individuals, it is hard for us to make a large impact on the well-being of the entire globe! That is where businesses and corporations can step in to be leaders in combating climate change! The Ray C. Anderson Foundation is based on the values of creating a better world for tomorrow’s child through encouraging businesses to take action. John Lanier is the Executive Director of Ray C. Anderson Foundation and this week on Weather Geeks, he's talking about his family ties to the legacy foundation that his grandfather, Ray Anderson, left to help future generations thrive in a sustainable world.

In this interview, John and Dr. Shepherd talk about a new initiative called Drawdown Georgia. Tune in and hear all about it below, and then sign up to join us for the Drawdown Georgia Virtual Kickoff Gala on Saturday evening, October 17th from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.  It's free!
