Join Sustainable Newton on Friday, January 15 as they kick off 2021 with Ray C. Anderson Foundation Executive Director John Lanier, exploring Drawdown Georgia. Launched in October 2020, Drawdown Georgia is the first state-centered effort to crowdsolve for climate change, with 20 high-impact solutions tailored to Georgia’s unique natural, economic, and social resources.
They'll be asking John to share some of the history behind Drawdown Georgia and the Ray C. Anderson Foundation which helped launch the effort. More importantly, they'll ask him what Newton County businesses, governments, and citizens can do to help meet the program's aggressive -- but achievable -- carbon-reduction targets.
