A First Look at the New Biomimicry Launchpad Cohort

In 2020, the Biomimicry Institute trained a 6th cohort of the Biomimicry Launchpad, providing 46 young innovators with the tools needed to make their biomimetic designs a reality. They now present the Biomimicry Launchpad Virtual Showcase, an online platform created to highlight the teams’ work and learnings throughout this program.

The Biomimicry Launchpad, which is partially funded by the Ray C. Anderson Foundation, accelerates the development of tangible, regenerative solutions by identifying and supporting high potential innovators. In addition to traditional startup training, the program incorporates deep environmental connection and awareness, instilling an ethos of supporting all life through business operations and product design.
